David T. Carter leads Sentry BioPharma’s Facilities Team, overseeing the maintenance, security, validation, BMS, facility project management, and overall operational integrity of our GMP-regulated facilities. He ensures that client materials are protected and that critical systems, controlled environments, and infrastructure remain fully functional and compliant with the highest regulatory standards.

In his role, David provides strategic leadership for a multi-disciplinary team that includes facilities maintenance technicians, equipment validation, monitoring, and calibration personnel, security personnel, project management personnel, and custodial staff. He drives continuous improvement across building systems, physical security, and validation programs while ensuring seamless support for Sentry’s temperature-controlled storage, laboratory services, and expanding operations.

Since joining Sentry in 2020, David has played a key role in the company’s growth. He successfully managed Sentry’s 130,000+ square-feet of facility additions and continues to lead multiple expansion projects, including the continued development of a second U.S. site. His leadership in capital projects, facility upgrades, and infrastructure improvements has been instrumental in scaling Sentry’s capabilities.

David brings a strong technical foundation and progressive leadership experience. He holds an Associate of Science degree in Automotive Technology from Vincennes University and completed coursework in Automotive Engineering Technology at Indiana State University. Combined with years of hands on and executive level experience across industries, he is recognized for building high-performing teams, strategic planning, and delivering operational excellence.
