Job Details:

Associate I, Maintenance is a crucial member of the Sentry BioPharma Services team, responsible for ensuring the facility and grounds are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. This role is essential in maintaining the cGxP (Current Good Practices), Quality Assurance, and Company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) standards at our state-of-the-art facility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Tasks may include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including but not limited to, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and sanitizing. Ensuring all areas of the facility are kept clean and free of debris.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks, changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, and general facility inspections.
  • Carry out minor repairs to facilities and equipment, such as fixing loose handles, repairing damaged walls, painting, and minor repairs to broken equipment.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the grounds by performing tasks such as lawn care, trash removal, and snow removal as needed.
  • Operating and/or maintaining various industrialized powered vehicles. This would include but not limited to:
    • Forklifts (Stand up and Sit Down)
    • Walkie Riders
    • Scissor Lift/Boom Lift
    • Floor scrubber
  • Ensure that the facility and grounds are maintained in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and cGxP standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the Director/Supervisor/Manager and other departments as necessary to report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs.
  • Additional duties as assigned by Director/Manager/Supervisor.
  • Being “on-call” for facility emergencies or alarms (temperature, security, etc.).

Education and/or experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Familiarity with HVAC equipment, mechanical, electrical systems, and blueprint reading would be advantageous.
  • Relevant licenses and certifications are a plus.
  • Previous maintenance experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
  • Experience with maintenance management software is a plus.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry or related field is a plus.
