Job Details:

This position is responsible for assisting with interdepartmental communications and management as well as client service support for Sentry BioPharma Services, Inc. (Sentry). The Project Manager will provide critical leadership in service offerings proposed by Sentry.  This position is expected to support and assist warehouse operations in integrating new business for the benefit of all clients.  The Project Manager will strive to become a subject matter expert on systems, operational and/or QA as assigned by their supervisor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Work with Senior Management and other team members to develop, define and enhance specific business and operational goals, processes, and procedures, including but not limited to the following:

  • Oversees project management execution and management of a team that provides oversight for the initiation, design, construction, commissioning and operational start-up of business initiatives / goals, programs, manufacturing equipment, facilities, and office buildings. 
  • Ensures that project delivery methodologies, project management processes/principles and project management tools are utilized to achieve project goals.
  • Owns the key project management business processes and improves and simplifies these processes continuously.
  • Partners proactively with other departments (Quality Assurance, Operations, etc.) to support business objectives, streamline business processes impacting project planning/execution, and implement business process changes.
  • Delivers successful projects, effectively balancing quality, scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Provides cost estimates, including but not limited to storage, contracting fees, project management, and ancillary fees, while demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of cost structure and relevant charges.
  • Provides guidance, direction, and advice to other project managers with respect to actions or decisions related to changes in project scope, schedule, and cost to ensure client timelines and expectations are met.
  • Provides feedback and guidance to project staff.
  • Supports Manufacturing and/or Facilities personnel in trouble-shooting problems in the operation of pharmaceutical and industrial manufacturing facility systems and equipment.
  • Performs additional duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Education and/or experience

BS or BA degree is required or equivalent experience.  Five to ten years of professional business experience with a proven track record is required. Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech or a highly regulated industry is a plus.

Computer Skills

Basic knowledge of Microsoft O365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and a modern Web Browser such as Google Chrome required.
